Grief, Growth and Getting on With it

A place for your grief to be witnessed.

Welcome to Grief, Growth, and Getting On With It….a space for navigating life after loss.
We talk about grief, growth, and everything in between… without being too doom and gloom.
Because life doesn’t pause…so here we are, getting on with it.

Why This Space Exists:

In August 2025, a phone call changed my life.

My mum told me that my dad had taken a turn and that I needed to get to the hospital immediately. It was the last time I would ever see him.

At 26, that is a lot to carry, and even more to make sense of.

I was fortunate to have an incredible support system made up of people who, sadly, understood grief themselves. This included my best friend, who lost both of her parents in a car accident in 2023, when she was just 25.

What became clear to me, though, was how little space grief is given. It is rarely spoken about and even more rarely witnessed. Not everyone has a support system. The world keeps moving. Schedules continue. Expectations remain. All of this happens regardless of what you are carrying inside.

Life goes on.

I created this space for people learning how to live after death. For those trying to exist in a life that continues, but now holds grief alongside it. This is a place to acknowledge what it really means to get on with it, not as a dismissal of loss, but as the difficult and imperfect act of continuing anyway.

Because life will always continue.
Just now, with grief in it.
